Facebook launches Planout

Facebook wrote in the official blog,

"Facebook runs tests on a daily basis, some for the sake of optimization, some for the long term design, because the work is so impressive that we need a reliable, stable test procedure where many online tests are performed by engineers who are not experienced statisticians." Tests are easy to parse when doing the right thing, but they can be easily faulted in their design, implementation, recording, and parsing.
