I. INTRODUCTION
The configuration described below uses HylaFAX 4.0p2.rjc11, which runs on top of Mandrake7.1. On the server side, the HylaFAX consists of three daemons:
FAXQ: Main service procedure
Hfaxd: Managing Network Connections
Faxgetty: Managing sessions between modems
The programs that run on the client are as follows (these programs can also run on the server):
SendFax: Send Fax
Faxstat: Checking fax queues
FAXRM: Deletes a work from the queue.
The related configuration file is in the/var/spool/fax/etc/folder.
II. Installation
I recommend installing the following packages (all of which are included in Mandrake 7.1):
Ghostscript Ftp://ftp.cs.wisc.edu/pub/ghost/aladdin
Libtiff Ftp://rufus.w3.org/linux/redhat
