Since January 2013, FedEx will be on the route to enable the wide-body Airbus 310, replacing the current use of the Boeing 757. This will add more than 1600 cubic metres of freight space, or increase daily freight volume by 20,000 kilograms. FedEx's Airbus A310 will become the only daily wide-body cargo plane for the Edmonton International Airport (EIA), making it easier for companies in northern Alberta to connect to the global market.
Customers through the Edmonton airport will continue to benefit from FedEx's series of transport solutions, such as FedEx International Priority Express Service (IP), FedEx International Priority Express Service (IPF), the next day delivery service, two working days delivery services.
