Firecat is a server-side http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/33906.html ">javascript Web server. It is similar to ASP and JSP, but it is not VBScript and Java, its main use of JavaScript scripting language (NSP). It is written in Java and can run on any Java virtual machine, but the main goal will be free Java support, such as Sablevm,jamvm,kaffe,gcj/gij and Apache, and so on.

Firecat 1.0.0 RC1 The RC version mainly uses the Rhino JavaScript engine. Increased SSL support and basic Windows operating system support.

Firecat super-delegates transitioned from using the FESI ECMAScript engine to using Mozilla Rhino engine to take advantage of the newer JavaScript support.

· Use Javac instead of Jikes as the default.
· Windows Support (rudimentary).
