According to foreign media reports, market research company NET Applications said March 1 that February this year, the market share of Firefox fell 1.1% to 21.7%, by Google Chrome, Apple Safari and IE's encroachment.

February Chrome market share grew from 10.7% in January to 10.9%.

Net applications said that the IE market share grew from 56% in January to 56.8%. Microsoft published a blog article, said IE9 on all versions of the Windows platform market share of 0.66%, on the Windows 7 platform share of more than 2%. Since its release in September 2010, IE9 has downloaded more than 36 million downloads.

Safari's market share grew from 6% in January to 6.4%. The market share of Firefox has been eroded by chrome, ie and Safari, with market share falling from 22.8% in January to 21.7%.
