Mochi Media, a subsidiary of Shanda Games, announced the first games funded by the Mochi GAME Developer Fund (mochi GAME Developer). So far, the Mochi game developer Fund has paid a total of over 400,000 dollars for online game developers. Mochi Game also launched the first batch of fund games: Planetary Conflict, the City of Insects (toxers) and the Greedy King (Feed). The next fund game Snow Fort will be launched soon. The 10 million-dollar Mochi game developer Fund was established in March 2010, and Mochi game through funding, licensing and publishing deals to help game development studios and independent game developers around the world. So far, the foundation has invested in 20 developers worldwide, including South America, Europe and South-East Asia. Developers develop high-quality, top-level games, and by joining the Foundation, developers will receive additional technology, design, testing resources, and development tools from Mochi Media parent's Shanda games, and Mochi Media to the world's 40,000 websites. Mochi Media chief executive Jameson Hsu said: "From the outset, our goal for the Mochi game developer Fund is to work with outstanding developers to provide them with opportunities to showcase their talents around the world." We look forward to working with the first developers, as well as developers from around the world, to provide the community with high-quality, top-level games. The Mochi Game developer Fund was jointly funded by Mochi Media and its parent company Shanda game.
