Beijing time May 6 morning news, after being bought by Facebook, fitness tracking application move has changed the privacy policy, including Facebook and other third parties to share data. In Friday, Move's privacy policy also showed that the company would not disclose user data to a third party without a user's permission unless mandated by the law enforcement agency. And the company has promised that it will not change the policy even if it is bought. But the policy was adjusted in Monday to allow for a wider range of data-sharing: We may share personal identities with affiliates, including but not limited to Facebook, to provide, understand and strengthen our services. The policy highlights some of the thorny issues that Facebook faces when it buys companies: Facebook sends targeted ads mainly from users ' information, but some of the companies it buys have pledged not to advertise their users ' data or to share data. This February, Facebook agreed to spend $19 billion to buy mobile chat apps WhatsApp. A Facebook spokeswoman said WHATSAPPP would not share information with Facebook, but said the policy could change in the future. The transaction between the two parties has not been completed. In March this year, some game makers were worried about privacy when Facebook's 2 billion dollar takeover of virtual reality eye patch maker Oculus VR. Move applications use mobile sensors to track user movements to determine whether they are walking, running, cycling or driving. Once this application is installed, move can still track the user even if the user does not open the application. The data that move collects may be valuable to Facebook. After buying move, a Facebook spokeswoman said the two companies would not mix the data. In Monday, a Facebook spokeswoman reiterated that stance, but admitted that the two companies planned to share data. Jeffrey Chester Jeffrey Chester, executive director of the Digital Democracy Center at the U.S. Digital Civil Rights Agency, said: "This is still a loss of privacy, but they are masked by word games." This raises disturbing privacy concerns. Chester said he planned to mention the privacy issue in a meeting with the Federal Communications Commission (FTC) in Tuesday.
