Welcome to the release of CentOS 6.0. CentOS is an enterprise-class Linux distribution, originating from the upstream operating system provider (UOP) 1 free public source code.

CentOS fully complies with the upstream supplier's redistribution policy and aims to http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/34182.html "> software compatibility." (CentOS changes to the component is mainly to remove the upstream supplier's trademarks and artwork.) )

CentOS 6.0 has changed significantly from previous releases.

CentOS 6.0 is built with a newer construction system, and the function library is also verified to be compatible with the upstream two-yuan file.

We have decided not to install aliases from UOP. The system administrator has access to all channels at the time of installation.

Please read the other sections before you try to install or report the problem.

Known Issues

The installer requires at least 392MB of memory to function. Text mode is automatically applied to systems with less than 652MB of memory.
The function of the text installation is limited compared to the image installer. In particular, it does not support setting the distribution of partitions, how they are stored, or selecting components. Please refer to the official documentation for details.

Insufficient memory to configure kdump! This message appears during installation. This known upstream error is present on a system with less than 4GB of memory, and an update to KEXEC-TOOLS-2_0_0-153_EL6 or newer version can solve the problem.

Compatible's content is divided into two DVDs. The second disc contains only the components from the upstream Optional channel. Installations that do not involve Optional class components should only be dvd#1.
The i386 DVD size just can't be included in a single DVD medium. It can be successfully burned onto a DVD-R.
