Cisco new push series Nexus Data center switch

As expected, Cisco launched its second-generation Nexus 7000 switch platform, which upgrades the line capacity to 15TB. Cisco also released a new version 5.1 software that adds IPV6 capabilities to its application control engine product line. Cisco also introduces services such as automated network operation and unified architecture optimization to automate network management tasks and help customers adjust their existing infrastructure to support the company's unified Infrastructure Data Center network architecture.

Fabric 2 like Nexus 70,091 is now starting to be available to users. Cisco says Fabric 2 will support Nexus 18 and 10 slots later this month. Nexus 5500 Support Fabricpath and FEX technologies will be available later in the quarter.
