Moderator: The General Assembly into the next plate, Silicon Valley cloud world, please host.
Joe Golden, a partner in broadband capital: I'm a partner in broadband capital, and I'm going to welcome this part of the discussion, which is called the cloud world of Silicon Valley. Or we can say that the guests of our invitation, are guests from all over the world, today dedicated to participate in the 2011 Cloud World Congress, we have about one hours, a brief introduction to our guests. They will then give each of them a brief introduction of their own company. Then there will be a topic discussion about the cloud. First of all, a brief introduction.
First please canonical, Vice President of OEM services, Chris Kenyon, whose company was founded in 2004. They also do a lot of Kaiyuan Linux projects, including the desktop, server, and cloud services, the main service individuals, but also the enterprise. At the same time, the company helps companies optimize their performance and then make sure they use free OSM software into the cloud world. Second, the CSA (Cloud Security Alliance) founder Nils Puhlmann, he is the founder of the Cloud Security alliance, but also a CSA director, and he is also a very famous company's technical experts. So we are very pleased to be able to invite him to speak today as the founder of the Cloud Security alliance.
On my left is Evernote CEO Phil Libin, whose company mainly provides software as service, SES and so on. I think that all the things and equipment needed, such as some magazines that rated them as the best companies of the year, they are now developing in Japan, a company founded in 2009. Finally, I would like to introduce the United States of Hong Tao and magnificent Grand President and CEO Pehong chen,1993 years to set up a company in 1996 on the Nasdaq listing, but also in the enterprise solutions experts. Businessweek, for example, has reported him, and he is one of the five most influential people in E-commerce. At the same time, he is also doing software as a service. At the same time, they are also doing cloud computing, hope to help enterprises better social network configuration.
Below we begin to invite them to speak, the CSA (Cloud Security Alliance) founder Nils Puhlmann begins.
CSA (Cloud Security Alliance) founder Nils Puhlmann: Good Morning everyone! I'd like to skip a few slides and give you some information about cloud computing security.
I am the founder of CSA (Cloud Security Alliance), now has 25,000 individual products in the world, this is the concept that 2009 proposed. We were saying that with the development of technology, we had to consider security. Then there are a lot of technological innovations that may cost more. So we were saying, then, that we have other ways, that cloud computing is now at a stage of development, and that there is a lot of data showing that there are a lot of people in this area, such as a lot of volunteers to help us make the cloud more secure. There are about 50 strokes today, including the distribution of China. Our goal is to be able to guide or help our customers, and then be able to secure participation in the cloud.
At the same time, we have published several versions, such as you can see, you can download applications. Besides, we have rules. So let's take a look at the first thing we can see from a security perspective, which is what we call the security domain, which is a special area in a safe world, and we have to use specialized technology to solve it. such as the legal issues listed here, compliance, and IOM and so on.
Then there are the business continuity and application security. In addition, it includes identity management and so on. All fields are completely new to Yu Yun. If we think about it, if it's all over the world now, there may be different data, the integration of resources, from all over the world, security has improved, how to differentiate data, how to ensure that the right people have the right access to the right data, these are becoming more and more important. Because there is no physical control of many resources now, the security of the cloud becomes particularly important.
Here is a list of the key issues that we call cloud security. First of all, for the provider of service cloud, now in the cloud world, you will find that the real computing data supply points may not be very well known. For example, I am a client and I may have a deal with a cloud provider to provide services to me, but I may not know the service provided by the cloud provider, and then the data location is available. So we can see that more and more cloud services are now anonymous. Also include identity management, if you look at the development of technology, identity management. In fact, it is particularly difficult for many large enterprises. But if in the cloud world, any time, can use a lot of cloud provider's service, but also has the enterprise structure inside.
Then I have to be able to manage, that is to ensure that the right people at the right time, with the right identity to obtain this authority. So I think this is a big problem in cloud computing, which is to ensure that the right people get access to the right information with the right permissions. Moreover, we feel that the cloud will also bring about a change in the security of the entire Internet.
In fact, in terms of security, we'll see a lot of innovation coming up in the next few years. Because of the cloud, changes in our technology, as well as the level of technology and technical concepts change. So, in particular, the entire security system has changed correspondingly.
What do we do about the cloud trust problem? Some people will say that the cloud is not safe? And the cloud may be a direction for future development, but there are still many people feel that the cloud is a lack of standards, that is, for the direction of development. For example, I do not know where the data is being stored, or whether some of the cloud is available, in line with local government requirements, industry standards. In addition, there is a question about transparency, such as whether I really know all the information from the cloud provider to manage the company's risks. If you say that there is something in the contract that is not written and I want to know, what then?
So, on some of the key issues of the future, what does the lack of compatibility legislation for globalization mean? That is, now that we have so many suppliers, they may have data centers in every country in the world, not just the way the cloud is going to do it, but there are a lot of types. If it's a bank, you may want to use this cloud, you need to put data in the Swiss cloud, and finally, if you encounter a less effective infrastructure around the world, there is no way to take advantage of the cloud, we should become more flexible, to some extent, reduce costs. For the Government, more cooperation is needed to create some globally recognized data and common standards of government privacy.
So what does Cloud 2.0 look like? Then of course there is something that I have written out. If you think about how much data you have now and how many providers you think about, then I might not be able to tell you the exact number. You can imagine how important infrastructure is. In the past we had an infrastructure system that could have some impact on the economy, or on a large part of the people. Gmail is a type of thing that relies heavily on infrastructure, and suddenly there is a blackout, and more government action is needed to ensure that. It also includes other jamming techniques, such as different hypewiser in the same system, different security systems in the same system, and so on. In the clouds, we need to deal with such problems.
And there is the uniformity of policy, how we can be in different data levels, and then in different server data processing, and then change. We believe that in the world 10IT Enterprises will have 4 in the future, that is, 2012 years does not exist. We think that in the area of security, this is a bigger change because this kind of change is a bigger change than we've seen before.
So, here I am, I believe that we can have more interesting discussions, if you are interested in us, this is our contact, we also have social tools, Twitter and so on, as well as our website, we also use a model in the CSA, not imagine what can be in the CSA, But what to contribute, we really want to become an international organization, consider the different regions and cultural differences, so that we can better help cloud computing, thank you!
Joe Golden, a partner in broadband capital: Thank you and speak very well.
Evernote CEO Phil Libin: I'm very happy to be back in Beijing again. We can talk backwards, it might be more interesting. I'm here to tell you two minutes about how we look at the cloud, how a fundamental change takes place, and how we can help our business.
So our mission is to help you remember everything. We build a system that is equal to the user's other brain. Because we think that we want to create products that can allow billions of of people, after waking up to see a very exciting product. It should be a universal product in the world. Because everyone wants to have a better memory, very few people are satisfied with their normal memory or the memory of the normal brain, people want to be more intelligent, can have better memory, this is our service, as a service, we are always following you. Whenever something interesting happens, definitely want to record in the Evernote, you can see later, whether it is a Web page, or a file, or need someone to help you, or want to remember a wine name, whatever you want to remember, whether it is the data world or the memory of the real world, Can be put into Evernote, we build this company for ourselves, we are our own target group, we are our own users. Evernote was the third company I started, and a lot of people in my team built local companies, and the first two companies were mainly doing other business. The first company to do E-commerce software, but also for large retailers to provide software, we ourselves are retailers, but also want to do a good service.
The second company is a safe company, the government or some agencies are very concerned about security, and we want the government and industry to cooperate with us.
The third part of the business inside, I hope to be able to build the products we want. We want to do some products that we can use everyday, this is Evernote, our concept is to use cloud to redefine the concept of productivity software. We believe that the concept of productivity software has a history of more than 20 years, now the productivity of the software is more attention to the office, such as some tables, databases, and then some speech software. The software is relatively old, and I think it might affect the past, but the impact on the future is small, we used to have so much e-mail, online instant messaging, or laptops, tablets, and so on, which came after the creation of productivity software, we want to build modern productivity software in the cloud, What it means for data workers now, maybe everyone here.
We want to do more productive things, this is the product we want to do. We use ourselves as a model because the products we design need to be used by ourselves. We are thinking, we design for ourselves, I am Evernote CEO, is equal to make a design for myself. I think of myself as a target customer, just like this, for example, is my brain. My brain can be divided into two parts.
Part of it is time consuming, for example, I want to distract myself and do some heat, so there are a lot of big companies that have good technology to help me spend some time. For example, in the use of some products, time passed quickly, of course, there are other examples. Of course, I have half the brain, and I want to save some time, as CEO of a company, want to have higher productivity, this is what I want to do. Hopefully the other part of the brain is efficient, not necessarily social, but for itself, about how to achieve something.
I think for most companies, the brand that can make the best cloud in five years, in the past five years, is almost socially or entertaining, on the other side, probably like Google, some commercial apps, so we want to be half the brain, if half the brain is occupied by other things, The other half belongs to us Evernote.
Our timeline, we want to build a century of business, this is not our initial concept. But it's not a common thing in Silicon Valley, because the changes in Silicon Valley are very fast. Many entrepreneurs want to do the next step. In fact, when you are an entrepreneur, in Silicon Valley, when you want to raise money, suddenly ask a question, is what your exit plan is, who will buy your business, how to exit. But we have in the past two companies have to exit the plan, the third company, not to build someone else's company, we have no design exit plan, because we think of Evernote as a brand new enterprise, the first hope to build a century enterprise, will never quit, never end, We want to be great and help more people.
I think we have to do this because the main value proposition we Evernote is that we want our users to write to us and they can use our memory services throughout their lives. So we want to let users put their life's trust on us, we think we should be more transparent, how the company is progressing, how the business is progressing, how technology, how security is progressing, what needs to be done very clearly, the need to build a very great century needs to be known.
And I think the reason for this is that there is a cloud of services that can fill this gap. In fact, when I compare the situation now, when I set up the first company and the second company, I can say that everything has changed, this change is brought by the cloud, because cloud services can fill the gap between many devices. All of the devices can be used together and have not been seen before. Actually now has the cloud, the whole aspect has the change, the handset, the tablet computer, the refrigerator and so on the equipment can carry on the connection, this is in the past unexpected aspect. Now it's not just the user experience, but the Cross-platform, 360-degree user experience across different devices that is implemented by the cloud.
So, cloud services can fill this gap between different companies. We have an ADI project with more than 9,000 developers in it, and different companies are developing on Evernoteadi, Evernote integrates many of the company's content to provide a feature. If there is no cloud, there is no way to achieve it. In fact, the best partners in the past should be our competitors, and now work together with us, in the ADI, in the cloud, because we built a great service, can work together. The cloud is an important point in bridging the corporate divide.
Then, the cloud can also fill the differences between cultures, and we want Evernote to be used by every country in the world. So we can make a point around the world. We need to do some local development, we need to develop in all parts of the world. For example, in China, we need to do better local learning, and in the world to do a good study, create a separate service, then it is Evernote. In this way, in all parts of the world, the establishment of such a point, without the cloud, there is no way to achieve.
Finally, the cloud can fill the gap between different business models. In fact, the cloud can make the business model a global model. A problem for western companies, such as the biggest problem for American companies before they enter different markets, is that their business model may not be able to run elsewhere. For example, in China and in the United States is not the same situation, there are a lot of intellectual property problems, or data protection problems, cloud services can make it easier to solve these problems. Because the characteristics of the cloud technology business model are the same, in Evernote or other companies.
So, the longer you use the service, the more you will like the service, which is our core business model Evernote, very simple. The longer you use Evernote, the higher the value you get, and in fact, the same in many good cloud services. The more information you use, the more devices you use, the more value you get in life. It's universal, people don't like to be forced to pay, people don't like to be forced to pay when downloading a piece of music. Everyone likes to pay for what they love. So the cloud as a service to users, can provide different equipment, and finally they love the time, feel more important to life, there is the reason to pay.
So we think there's a paid version of the concept that the earliest time is free, then have a paid version, any place, the concept is very good, we hope in China can do it, do not know how the results, but still want people willing to pay for the things they like.
So, we are a global company, we have companies in California, Texas, Tokyo and so on, recently we will come to China, to Beijing, will also be very excited. Come to China, we have to understand that there are actually many Silicon Valley companies to China to succeed not many, there are many bad experiences, good experience relatively few. But we are still relatively exciting, there is always a first crab-eating people, always need someone to understand how in China there is a better way to succeed in China. We want to learn, we do not know the answer, we need to spend a lot of time and resources in China, and finally find a way we can jointly create such a great service. Thank you!
Moderator: Thank you very much.
Pehong Chen, President and CEO of Acer Road and Magnificent America: Good morning! It is a great pleasure to have the opportunity to represent overseas Chinese and entrepreneurs at the Cloud Convention today. Very happy to see a lot of good friends, Tian Zong, Wang always wait, they are all here. The first link, although the time is very short, but actually said a lot of important ideas, I hope that we do not because of the short time relationship, but did not hear a lot of important ideas.
Therefore, the idea that has just been said will not be repeated now. I can speak very quickly. As we all know, the cloud is one of the national key projects, SMEs are also. Just mentioned, the relationship between the two is very closely related, traditional it enterprises difficult to let small and medium-sized enterprises do any play, because the implementation of the cost and time are very high.
So, in such a situation, it creates very big business opportunities for a market like China and even the world market. Not only China, any country in the world, any market, small and medium-sized enterprises accounted for 90% to 95%, or even 98%, more than 99%. It was 1981 when we first arrived in the United States, just as the PC era began. Over the past year or two, Apple's success over the cloud has been the beginning of a new era. This new era, this 30 years, the biggest change in our last era, the so-called enterprise leadership consumption it, the beginning of the new era, just the contrary, formerly entrepreneurial things, and then to popular, now in turn, a lot of things in the popular success, only to find ways to take to the enterprise.
I talked to a lot of CIOs in the U.S. and said that if it wasn't validated in the mass consumer market, you wouldn't have to talk to me. So the whole trend has changed a lot. The global market, the so-called global flattening, on the business of the ecological environment and ecological needs, there are very great changes. An enterprise no longer needs to tie all the people together, not to mention the impact of green energy and a lot of real global considerations, the value of cloud computing is very clear.
As mentioned in the previous link, this is actually the sum of the three major trends. One of them is virtualization, which means that we all need virtualization because of the limited resources and the expensive cost of resources. The second, mobile, the impact is very large, in the consumer, whether it is mobile phones, ipads, Android, and so on, the real impact on individuals, I IT25 in the enterprise more than a year, the real impact is our business. Traditional business operations are all tied to a table, table-type computer, notebook computer, it is also very troublesome to use. We find that with such an environment and work end, many companies in the stronghold, or a lot of mobile sales, as well as mobile population, and even people working from home, this business environment, there will be a very revolutionary impact, as well as his management.
The most important thing is the so-called Enterprise 1.0, represented by the linear division of the internal process of the fixed enterprise, Wang has always mentioned. At 2.0, after social and community management, let every employee, every participant, even your client, your partner, be more proactive in contacting each other, interacting and collaborating in a social media way. The impact is enormous, fundamental, and very simple to say. Is that the linear equation becomes a non-linear equation. The so-called n productivity can evolve into N-squared productivity.
Over the past three years, our company has begun to devote all its efforts, based on the experience of the so-called portal site in the 18, to develop the so-called social and community platform of the enterprise. The main function of this platform is to be able to use social methods to make the enterprise internal and external all the participants, people as the core, rather than data as the core, a comprehensive exchange.
Therefore, English now has a concept is UCC, that is, the traditional communication and collaboration, all can be integrated into a unified platform.
Well, maybe you sound a little like the groom. Weibo, Facebook, QQ, etc., actually applied to the enterprise is very different, no longer just make friends, actually more effective work and collaboration. Once there are different ends, there will be a huge change in the work. Like our company has more than 300 employees around the world, there are nearly 40 people working at home, we do not common in China this phenomenon, foreign there are many such phenomenon, is the company's staff scattered everywhere, more and more is the virtualization of the Office way. In such a work environment, you have to use the traditional way of management and communication is very difficult, so to rely on the cloud, is the way of social networking, so that people feel the company's existence, the company's culture, and interact with each other and do things.
Then you expand to think, between business and enterprise, from business-to-business evolution to see, there are a lot of things on the internet, there must be someone behind, people must be behind the company, the company is certainly living, the impact of the people, the joint, the company, all linked together, there is mutual trust and mutual benefit, Can achieve the results of the eventual cloud computing. Now we see cloud computing, not just to set up cloud computing centers and data centers, which are really in the industry to apply, recently signed a company in Japan, there are 400 stores, now in this way, so that each store shop and shop owners use the ipad, ready to share, how to sell the most effective. Many companies originally want to sell the way, in actual combat time is not that way, you can use very fast mechanism, feedback back, so that other staff can learn what is most effective. But also can take to customers there, customers hesitate, can also directly to the customer a good video demo, so that each customer's actual experience to upgrade.
Therefore, the use of cases abound, the company's internal management, corporate and customer management, as well as external partner management, or customer management, this platform has the greatest role. The most important thing is to use it, do not need it, users can set themselves, and very inexpensive.
Its effect has immediate results, both for employees and businesses. Finally, I have been working in it for a long time, and the hardest question to answer is what is the return on investment? Spend how much money, earn how much money back, did not see a clear return on investment, 1 less than N, is a linear system, when n is very large, every enterprise in the so-called ecosystem, whether employees, partners, customers, are very large numbers. We all can join together, in the social way of doing things, to achieve results, whether it is the sharing of knowledge, the speed of innovation will be greatly improved. Thank you!
Moderator: Thank you!
Canonical, vice president of OEM services, Chris Kenyon: Good morning! I am very happy to be here today and then come to our cloud base, the 2011 Cloud World Congress. I think Europe is now a financial crisis, you know the crisis of European debt, many people will ask a question, the United States and the European economy will not affect China's situation, what kind of impact. I think, in this context, there are two fundamental changes in technology around the world, one is what we call the mobile Internet, the technology of mobile Internet, now can be anywhere, and include what we call cloud computing, touch computing. Have you seen a child, and then with a smartphone to play Angry Birds, my son this year, 3 years old, on our home TV, began to use touch screen slide screen, said the TV is broken, how to slip.
In addition to the technology of mobile Internet, there is another technology that may not be visible to the general people, that is how we define our storage and the cloud. Today we have people from many government departments, business people. We hope to be able to learn, network 2.0, Tencent, Google, Baidu, Yahoo, etc., now has three technology, first, cloud technology, the second, we say the user's large data interface, the third is that we use the product interface, hardware interface. In fact, the calculation is 30 years of change.
I think a previous speaker from Cloud Security said that our calculations go into the third phase, no longer the same as in the past, we need more basic cloud computing and standards. I am from canonical company, we are at the same time in the world the most advanced Linux development companies, we know more about Utopia, the world has 20 million of desktops, this year will be a new 10 million of customers. There are a lot of people who don't know what we can do with the server. Has anyone ever seen a avatar movie, which is utopian, is used on the server.
There are two more data to share, now in the Amazon most commonly used operating system utopia, now as a service platform service, are built on the basis of utopia. About the cloud architecture, there is one thing to tell you, is the cloud infrastructure services, as well as platform as a service, are what we call the most basic Kaiyuan style, or open service. All the big clouds, we now see the larger cloud, Baidu, Tencent, Google, Amazon and so on, these are based on Linux. Their technology is very excellent and inexpensive.
At the same time, consider a network, in fact, an open standard set up, HTML standards, HTTP standards, are open standards. At the same time, before the world Internet, we have a global network, we have all, but if we want to experience this innovation, or the explosion of technology, that is, the situation facing today. That is to say, the standard should be open. Then a closed cloud will not, or can not, bring us true technological innovation. So, it does not help us to achieve the goal of our cloud base set up, so in the cloud solution, not to say that the patent-type, or proprietary. At the same time, for virtualization, virtualization itself is not a cloud, it is the steps to implement the cloud, or the cornerstone. At the same time, clouds are not just able to come from a single supplier.
So what can we achieve with an open cloud? For example, in China to achieve cloudy suppliers, with the same technology, to carry out the relevant services, the winner, is to win the trust of customers and the government. Government clouds also adopt the standard of open cloud, not only can reduce the cost of public cloud, representing a Chinese city, a province of innovative technology, can be used in another city, another province.
At the same time, if our private cloud is based on open standards, that is, it can achieve good flexibility, and can be directly connected to the public cloud. So all can be achieved, but the prerequisite is that we must have an open standard.
So how can we find an open standard for a good cloud.
First, there is no need to pay the right to use, license, and need a lot of technical support. So, we now have a global project called Open Station, open storage, open standards. Now the open station has more than 150 companies worldwide, and more than 27 developers have adopted it within 18 months. We introduced the development station one months ago in China, there are more than 500 developers, China Mobile now consider the way to open the station.
Our company is like Utopia, we are willing to adopt this development station, create an open cloud, it is open source, and also an open source development, unlike Android, Android is opened by a company that is open, and all companies can control the roadmap, develop software, put it into the system, It is also a globalized system.
And, briefly, from the infrastructure, the service side, I'll talk briefly about the data. Big data keeps changing the way we analyze data now. We are in the world, such as the original PT to Mega T, and we can put the data in the global analysis. The original Wal-Mart, or other big organization, they want 15 or 30 minutes of data global analysis, and large data also has a big impact, such as many companies, oil companies, financial companies, tourism companies, IT companies, etc., big data can change the entire industry, can take the infrastructure as a service. In addition, big data does a lot of innovation, while real innovation comes from open standards.
Finally, I would like to say a few words, today we see in Beijing, the development of the cloud is very good, believe that our innovation in the cloud is actually just the tip of the iceberg of our next 20 years.
At the same time, for the cloud, including big data, including the hardware of the goods, will be in the future innovation. So, now in the top 20 of the world's IT companies, four are Chinese companies, I believe that China's companies in the future, if the future adoption of a more open source and more open-minded attitude, the profit will surely belong to Chinese enterprises.
And finally, open clouds, including Linux, will be the most important part of the 21st century. Like the 20th century, coal and steel for the 20th century important, I believe that in China, this dream will come true, thank you!
Moderator: Thank you! You have just been very powerful to speak, we still have some time to discuss, first from a security standpoint, because I know that their biggest concern about cloud computing and cloud security is whether our data is secure, and what we see today is that there will be significant security changes over the next 3-5 years.
CSA (Cloud Security Alliance) founder Nils Puhlmann: OK, I think we can have two different angles. Well, one of my predictions is that innovation accelerates, we can look at some basic criteria for faster and larger events, such as code danper, cloud security, cloud mass collapse, or integrity issues, or credibility issues, and,,, Do a bigger research.
Another way is for us to be a little ahead and slow down, and notice that cloud computing is a marathon rather than a sprint. That means we need to know which energy to use at which point. I agree with the second method, the solution can be transnational, and can adapt to different cultures, the use of different methods of consumer technology.
Security considerations, the principle of security is required to deploy as securely as possible. For example, some companies, in the previous speech, they mentioned security issues, the use of open source. So security should be built internally, and we need to take some time to make sure every feature is in place.
Moderator: I would like to say a few more, that is, some of the standardization of activities, how do you agree, how do you think of the Government, the security of more participation or cooperation?
Nils Puhlmann, founder of CSA (Cloud Security Alliance): Governments, often in the event of public fear, intervene, such as something terrible, or some economic trends, that attract public attention. In terms of security, government intervention is not particularly good because we know that for the industry and consumers, we want to work together to solve the problem and solve it in the right way so that we can benefit from it. Of course it's not very simple, we need to create standards that take a long time to build, but unfortunately, innovation is always accelerating, expanding current security standards, and ISO2701, we're doing a lot of work, but we have to consider other issues at the same time.
So, my suggestion is that we have to focus on the safety benchmarks, and usually we forget about them, otherwise we can't go a long way. Thank you!
Moderator: Professor Chen, I would like to ask you just now mentioned that people can download, a lot of software is free, is actually your choice in China a pricing model. Rather than a company-run solution, Professor Chen, you are an early pioneer, especially in enterprise software solutions, as you cloud to transfer, there is this product solution, to provide enterprises, in contrast to open source, how to obtain higher open source knowledge, what do you do?
Ali Cloud computing platform senior expert Lin Dawn: Yes, we participate in the campaign of Open source, we also achieved the efforts of open source. This is actually some recent trends, we can get a lot of information from open source, real before the development of products, we have no choice, is closed source. But now we have a choice, for each developer, will have their own open source options. including ourselves. When you are doing a service, when we provide such services in the cloud, we certainly need to consider the issue of software allocation.
Sometimes it may need to become a proprietary software, here we are in fact not conflict, can be in the same station with two parts of the service, partly open source, part of the closed source, the same can provide customers with valuable products. So obviously it's a corporate responsibility, which means it's also a very healthy and successful business model. Mainly because of cloud services, we need to distribute the software to be profitable. is actually challenging. For example, Red Hat, the world's largest platform, we are now in this mode, like us, around the cloud to provide some services.
Moderator: For some enterprise-class customers, they may need a team to provide services, but sometimes the sense of service does not get, Chris, you have some experience with red hat.
Canonical, vice president of OEM services, Chris Kenyon: We want to make it clear that we are in the open source are made a lot of money, I think there is no conflict, in the application, if the use of a special protocol, or in the field of product, into a closed source, in fact, can be understood. But we have to consider the foundation of a facility. Only in this way, some countries, such as China, for the government, China to build some grassroots infrastructure, not based on open source system. If this infrastructure is all open source, and not to open source development is not good, so in this case, the use of closed source can not understand.
