At present, the concept of "cloud power" and "cloud energy" has been put forward by domestic experts, but there is no uniform and clear definition. I personally understand that "cloud energy" has several basic characteristics: the distribution and sharing of energy production patterns, the intellectualization and integration of energy transmission modes, the modularization and parallelism of energy transmission systems, the liberalization and standardization of energy access, and the interactive and individualized energy consumption.
"Cloud energy" is through the network, Intelligent Energy Network to various forms of energy resources management and scheduling, forming an energy resource pool to provide services to users.
"Cloud energy" is the whole energy industry production and consumption mode change, not only the traditional power grid intelligent.
In the "Cloud energy" era, a variety of energy forms are freely accessible to energy systems, different consumers can share energy services, energy supply not only emphasizes the supply function of energy producers, but also emphasizes consumer sovereignty, everyone can become energy producers, producers and consumers achieve equality.
The "Cloud energy" model is still in the envisioning stage and faces many obstacles and challenges, such as technology and commercialization. However, like "cloud computing", "cloud energy" also emphasizes consumer sovereignty, emphasizes the service function of the system, and emphasizes intelligent, interactive and commercialized through technological progress. Some enterprises at home and abroad have also started a bold attempt, and there have been many successful cases. Perhaps the future "cloud energy" model is not what we envision today, just as we cannot imagine Web3.0 in the Web1.0 era. But every step of human progress has to do with the transformation of the energy system, especially the advances in energy technology. Under the severe resource and environment challenge, it is irresistible for mankind to change traditional energy production and consumption mode through energy technology progress and technology integration.
