In recent days HP officially unveiled a survey for the global market. According to the survey, when enterprises migrate to the cloud, they must go through a hybrid delivery strategy to accelerate innovation, improve agility and improve financial management. The convergence of cloud computing and connectivity has gradually changed the way that delivery capabilities and information are used.
According to the research conducted by Hewlett-Packard (1), there are at least 80% of the global business. According to the technical executives, cloud computing can reach or exceed even virtualization or client-server technology and then become a disruptive technology. However, China holds the same view of the business, technology executives are close to 50%. The survey also shows that while public cloud services and private cloud services will increase by 2020, traditional technologies will remain an integral part of the enterprise. In addition, in China, only 29% of enterprise delivery models are cloud-based. Senior business / technology executives predict that public cloud and private cloud delivery models will grow by one-third by 2020. The primary drivers of adopting the cloud include rapid application development (60%), agility (22%) in response to market changes, and lower operating costs (18%). Business / IT executives realize that implementing cloud computing will be the key to driving innovation and success. Currently, about one-half of chief executives and chief financial officers are developing cloud strategies for businesses. Businesses are prioritizing cloud investments. From now until 2020, 90% of enterprises expect to invest 100,000 to 1,000,000 dollars in cloud computing every year. Interviewees said that concerns about security (37%), transition (30%), and compliance or governance (15%) are the three big obstacles to their decision to adopt cloud services. As cloud services become more widely deployed, organizations urgently need sound, holistic regulatory and compliance strategies that effectively control and manage the IT environment. Forty percent of respondents admitted that their organization is running an IT-approved cloud solution, while another 40% have no clear idea of cloud solutions running outside of the IT department. Eighty percent of business executives and 80% of tech executives think the problem will escalate, predicting that cloud usage will rise to 50% by 2020 without IT approval. Businesses need a range of solutions that can help them safely migrate to the cloud and minimize the risk or service impact while maintaining regulatory oversight without a supplier. On the road to the cloud, businesses need a hybrid delivery environment that includes traditional IT, private cloud, managed cloud, and public cloud offerings. The survey was conducted by Coleman Parkes Research Inc. on behalf of Hewlett-Packard. The survey interviewed 550 business / technology executives from large businesses (more than 1,000 employees) and medium-sized businesses (500-1,000 employees). These interviews were conducted over the phone in February 2012. The areas surveyed included North America (United States and Canada), Europe and the Middle East (United Kingdom, France, Germany, Denmark, Russia, Czech Republic and UAE), Asia Pacific (India, China, Japan, Australia and South Korea) and Latin America And Mexico).
