Install partitions with mount command in Linux

Now we're going to introduce a command "mount" that is very important in Linux. This command is used to mount each partition on the hard disk to a folder in the root partition, or it can be called an installation file system. Some Linux distributions default to partitions other than the root partition, such as "RedHat 9". There is, of course, an exception to a swap partition called "swap." Also, some Linux distributions can automatically mount all Windows partitions after the system is installed, such as "Red Flag 5.0". Before we learn the Mount command, do we see how the "Red Flag 5.0" is mounted on a Windows partition?

The picture above is the MNT directory of my computer and see what's in it? The MNT directory is where the optical drive is mounted. There is a light area icon on my computer (the position of the red circle), and the contents of the CD-ROM are placed in this directory. And what do we see in the/MNT/USB directory? Originally ah, my USB interface http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/28213.html "> mobile hard disk access to the computer will form this directory." Because my mobile hard drive has two partitions, "Red Flag 5.0" establishes a "UDisk1" subdirectory and a "UDisk2" subdirectory in this directory. Mount the two partitions of the removable hard disk, respectively. My computer now has two more directories (the position of the red circle): "UDisk1", "UDisk2". If you have access to flash memory and have only one partition, you may only see the "UDisk1" directory.

But another interesting thing is. If the same mobile hard drive, but before the "Red Flag 5.0" is plugged into the computer, "Red Flag 5.0" will treat it as an existing Windows partition instead of a removable hard disk. Two more Directories "/mnt/winf" and "/mnt/wing" will be built in the MNT directory. Put two partitions of the removable hard disk in both directories.

OK, now let's learn how to use the Mount command. Please use the left mouse button to click "Start"--> "Application"--> "Attachment"--> "System Terminal", open the terminal and enter the following command: Umount/mnt/wine. It's not like the Mount command, is it? Yes, the "umount" command is used to uninstall partitions. We do this because the "Red Flag 5.0" mounts the partitions at startup. Note that directory names are case-sensitive. Umount is the command to uninstall the partition,/mnt/wine is the mount point directory to uninstall.
