Internet Explorer 10 on Windows 7 is coming

About one months ago, IEBlog published a blog to allow enterprise management of Internet Explorer 10 's update schedule. "This approach allows organizations to control when they are ready to deploy IE10 to their Windows 7 users," it said. I judge from this that the IE10 on Windows 7 is coming.

It is now available. You can now download the IE10 on Windows 7.

Windows 7 machines will automatically upgrade to IE10 in the coming weeks and months. For Web developers like me, this means more people will have a modern browser between Windows 8 users who already have IE10, and Windows 7 users who now have IE10.

IE10 on my machine faster than IE9, and they say it's smart to save electricity. It also has IE10 's upgraded JavaScript engine, including spell checking and AutoCorrect (finally)! But Sunspider means about 40% faster than IE9, although peacekeeper looks like 25%. The V8 benchmark looks more like 100% faster. The point is, it's faster. How fast? It depends on who you ask. Your mileage and machine will be different.
