Sina Science and technology news January 23 afternoon, Lenovo Group just issued a notice, has signed an agreement with IBM, to 2.3 billion U.S. dollars to acquire IBM X86 server hardware and related services maintenance business. According to the agreement signed by two companies, 2.3 billion U.S. dollars in the purchase price contains 2.07 billion U.S. dollars in cash and to IBM-oriented distribution of 182 million shares of Lenovo Group. Lenovo Group, through the acquisition, will occupy the global 14%pc server market share, and become the third largest server manufacturers. (Rui Tian)
