Linux virtual machines supported on Windows Azure

Now you may hear that the current capabilities of the new virtual machine in the preview can make Linux virtual machines run on Windows Azure like Windows Server.

Our goal in building support for Linux is to provide a first-class experience for our customers. We know we can't do this alone, so we work with a great company and have already provided the great products that make Linux run in the clouds.

Using the preview version of this feature is a start of our journey. In this release, we can see the early results of our work in this area. We understand that there is still a lot of work to be done and we look forward to your feedback at the Linux virtual Machine Forum.
