Cloud computing is one of the hottest it technologies at the moment, and I naturally flock to cloud computing. Recent coincidence, fortunate enough to contact the Azure cloud computing test account. After a round of experience, finally to cloud computing has some personal experiences, do not dare to enjoy, hurriedly and friends share one or two.
Cloud computing is actually a super computing model based on the Internet. In the Internet Data Center, thousands of servers are connected to a cloud of computers, providing powerful computing services for many users. The advent of cloud computing has dramatically changed the business model of Web services. Enterprises need some kind of network service, may not need to build their own servers to provide services, can be fully submitted to the cloud application. All storage, computing is provided by the cloud, the user only need to enjoy the service. Just like we need electricity, we can buy it from the power company and not necessarily have to prepare a generator at home.
Cloud computing is a popular technology that can effectively save costs for small businesses. The cost of small businesses is clearly unacceptable if they are limited by capital and provide the necessary IT services through their own construction. Turning to the cloud to raise demand for services is very flexible. The cost of cloud computing is still very competitive in price, if the enterprise scale gradually grow, enterprises can also choose to send cloud data back to the local server, to achieve more autonomous management. Maybe in a few years, small businesses no longer need to consider hiring engineers to buy servers to complete the required Web services, just a call to the cloud-computing provider: "Hello, we need an Exchange server, 15 users to use, and then give us an Instant Messaging server "....
Well, say for a long time, or let us experience the charm of cloud computing firsthand. The cloud of this experience is SQL Azure, which provides database services in the cloud. Open IE Browser, enter http://sql.Azure.com, the login screen shown in Figure 1, enter your MSN Passport complete login.
Figure 1
As shown in Figure 2, after logging in to SQL Azure, I am displaying the project I currently own. This project is Nije teacher for me to create, Nije Teacher's account belongs to service administrator, my account belongs to administrator. My account can create a database, free use of a certain amount of storage space, but once the use of excessive, the cost of Nije by the teacher's credit card to pay, hehe ....
Figure 2
Click "Yuelei-test Service" in Figure 2, the interface shown in Figure 3, click "I Accept", accept the terms of use constraints.
Figure 3
After accepting the terms of use of SQL Azure, as shown in Figure 4, we are ready to create a database server in the cloud. We entered the SQL Administrator account name, password, in the location to select the East Asian region. Select different regions and create servers that are stored in different Microsoft Data centers. After filling in the parameters, click "Create Server", you can create a virtual database server in the cloud.
Figure 4
As shown in Figure 5, the domain name of the virtual SQL Server we created in the cloud is furbkn86ze.database.windows.net, note that we use this domain name when managing SQL Azure on the client side! After creating a database server for the cloud, We can create a test database in the server, and click "Create Database" in Figure 5 to create it.
Figure 5
As shown in Figure 6, we fill in the database creation parameters. The database name is "TEST", the database type is web and the size is 1GB. After filling out the parameters, click the "Create" button to start creating the database.
Figure 6
As shown in Figure 7, we have a database named Test on the virtual database server.
Figure 7
To keep the database secure, we can prevent unauthorized users from accessing the database through firewall policies on the cloud's database server. As shown in Figure 8, click "Firewall Settings" to create a firewall policy.
Figure 8
As shown in Figure 9, we can create a firewall policy that allows only specific users to access the cloud's database. The current IP address of the user is shown in Figure 9, and we can only allow users of this address to access the database, which is a good way to enhance the security of the database.
