Beijing Time September 29 news, according to foreign media reports, in order to make a difference in the cloud computing business, in the upcoming 2012 Oracle Global Congress (Oracle OpenWorld 2012), Oracle will showcase the five-year launch of the first new flagship database software, And the latest high-end server products.

The 2012 Oracle Global Congress opens in San Francisco on September 30. Mark Hurd, chief executive of Oracle, said in a recent interview that the company's CEO, Larry Ellison, will showcase a new 12c database designed specifically for cloud computing and a more powerful system for handling enterprise data more effectively in the Hurd.

Oracle's revenues have doubled over the past five years, and Oracle's annual profits have risen sharply as they challenge SAP by acquiring a range of business software companies. At the same time, Oracle is still selling database software to clients. Oracle database software revenues accounted for about 48% of the company's total revenue in the previous fiscal year. In the 2012 Oracle Global Congress, Oracle will show attendees another way to cloud computing, rather than a hardware-free support model like rival Salesforce.com or workday.

"This week is a very important week for Oracle because they will be announcing their entry into the cloud market," said Rick Sherlund, an analyst at Nomura Securities US Inc., Rick Cherende. "The analyst gave Oracle stock a" buy "rating in investor reports.

The 12c database allows Oracle to use the same information base to serve the data processing needs of several companies, Mr. Ellison said in a September 20 analyst conference call. The database will be listed early next year. Mr Hurd said Oracle's Exadata and exalogic systems, plus databases, Java development tools and social media analytics software, were able to deliver Oracle's services to companies via the Internet.

Service transformation

"We will provide our clients with the Exadata architecture of cloud computing services," Mr. Hurd said in an interview. Customers will have the ability to dramatically change their business status. ”

As IBM, Microsoft and VMware have been killed in the cloud computing market, and the sale of products like services allows companies to manage their systems and software more, Oracle's timely transformation becomes very important. Oracle's brand new 12c database--c represents "cloud computing"-including the use of virtualization technology to enable software to handle multitasking, leading the current cloud computing market.

It is also the first database product Oracle has launched in the past five years. If demand grows, says Mr Hurd, Oracle has the ability to move computing jobs from their data centers to cloud computing.

Private Cloud

By setting up the so-called "private cloud" within the enterprise's own data center, Oracle can remotely manage its customers ' applications, database software, analyst Cherende said. Customers will also benefit from Oracle's series of technologies because they do not need to perform installation and maintenance.

Oracle now relies on new products to reverse its revenue slump and its share price performance is inferior to its rivals. Oracle's revenues fell 2.3% per cent year-on-year in the first quarter of August 31, affected by the decline in the sun's hardware business, which was acquired in 2010. Oracle's Nivino Software authorized revenue grew 5.1% from a year earlier, down from 16% year-on-year.

Oracle shares rose 22% this year, below SAP's 35% per cent increase in the same period, and a 51% gain in Salesforce.com.

Oracle has been expanding revenues and profits through acquisitions strategies. Oracle has already completed 80 mergers and acquisitions through more than $50 billion trillion to increase the number of commercial software programs running on servers and PCs. However, Pat Walravens, an analyst at JMP Securities, said Oracle could find it hard to gain growth in cloud computing through acquisitions Patte Vallafins.

Oracle says the company has signed a 1 billion-dollar cloud computing business, including cloud services Oracle Cloud. Mr Hurd said Oracle would provide the latest data at an analyst meeting on October 4.
