New features of Microsoft SQL Azure release include:
• Expansion of personal database capacity-from 50GB to 150GB
• Merging-Allows the use of fragmented patterns to extend data horizontally to expand the database
• The improved management portal has the following new features: More convenient monitoring databases, drill-down data graphs, query plans, spatial coordinate data, indexes/keywords, and query performance statistics.
• Support for user corrections (existing SQL Azure databases prohibit installation of corrections in servers or databases)
