According to foreign media reports, a recent study by NPD Group, a market research firm, suggests that Twitter users of micro-blogging sites prefer music-whether online or online, and that they are more likely to pay to download music.

Data show that Twitter can be a very important tool for music makers. But until Twitter uses a more direct link to music sales, it is hard for music makers to gain direct economic benefits from Twitter.
