The predecessor of Tint2 was TTM (Tint Task Manager), because the original author no longer maintained TTM, so there was Tint2 later. Although the Tint2 is slightly simpler in function, contains only the task list, system tray, and clock function, however, the Tint2 is especially lightweight, the interface is concise, and the customization is strong, and the extra support is more obvious.
