&http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/37954.html ">NBSP; Many broadband networks are connected via PPPoE. At present, in addition to Hong Kong Broadband (HKBN) and wired Broadband (i-cable), almost all of Hong Kong's broadband network operators use PPPoE (including online lines (Netvigator), Broadband (Hgcbroadband) and New World (NWTBB). It can be said that when you see the network business is using XDSL technology, there is a broadband modem (broadband modem), then he is generally using PPPoE to connect.

NetworkManager 0.7 begins to support PPPoE, allowing Ubuntu 8.10 (intrepid) or above users to set up broadband connections via a graphical interface.

First refer to the network wiring widget on the side panel and select "Edit Line ..." (edit Connection ...) or select System-> Preferences (Preferences)-> network configuration (receptacle Revisit) executes the NetworkManager wiring editor (nm-connection-editor).
