Utility analysis of Campus cloud platform based on Markov chain

Campus Network has many problems, such as high energy consumption, low efficiency, waste and so on, which can be solved by cloud computing, but the benefit growth brought by cloud computing does not have a good standard. This paper gives a brief description of the campus cloud platform, analyzes the cost of the data center and the costs of the user instance, and puts forward the cost utility function of the campus cloud platform. A Markov chain model of campus cloud Platform is established to analyze load balancing strategy and greedy strategy. The campus cloud platform is simulated by using Cloudsim, and the model is validated and analyzed and compared. By establishing the model and simulation analysis, it is found that setting up the cloud platform and adopting different strategies can effectively improve the resource utilization of campus network to reduce the cost or provide better service quality.
