Virtual Network service in cloud computing

To address this specific issue, Embrane today unveiled Heleos, the company's first distributed software platform for acquiring, providing and configuring network services in cloud computing. Dante Malgrino, chief executive of Embrane, said the Heleos platform allowed cloud computing service providers to somehow control customers in the IT network infrastructure, in a way that made it easier for suppliers to provide differentiated cloud computing services. The level of granularity control in the network infrastructure provided by HELEOS means that cloud computing service providers can provide customers with truly programmable cloud computing platforms. Heleos is a platform enabled using the rest application programming interface, which, according to Malgrino, not only enables cloud computing service providers to deploy the operating environment more easily, but also enables customers to implement the service requirements of network services.

Embrane essentially creates a cloud management platform that spans three of layers of network services, allowing the cloud computing platform to run within the enterprise or Third-party data centers to deliver a set of virtual network services. While there are a number of options to promote the development of virtual network services, it is clear that the requirements of these services will increase the number of it enterprise organizations that are truly deployed in the cloud.

After all, running a program independently in the cloud is a problem. But once the program becomes part of a larger enterprise ecosystem, all the problems of network services that have long challenged the traditional data center environment will begin to be put into use.
