Keywords Azure azure enhanced functionality

Today, we are ushered in a new era of hybrid clouds, bringing together the best not cloud and cloud computing. Virtual machines, virtual networks, and Web sites are now available as new preview services for Windows Azure. SQL reports are now typically available to customers, and a local redundant storage option has been added to provide additional customer choices, and several enhancements to Windows Azure's existing services are now available. These updates help customers build and use their own unique ways to publish their applications in the cloud.

In addition, some price and metering updates add to the overall value. These changes include the final price of the network, CDN and storage, preview pricing for window servers and non-Windows virtual machines, a 90% reduction in storage (price), and a CDN transaction price.

All the details are as follows, please come here frequently for in-depth technical posts and other useful information about these enhancements.

The following are details:

Enhancements to existing services:

SQL Reports--The full backup Sla,sql report currently in use enables you to publish reports to the cloud or embed reports directly in a non-cloud application that can be accessed through a browser, mobile device, or PC. Caching-cache Preview provides a new lease pattern, new features, and performance improvements. This new preview can deploy caching to web roles and and with other application components in the same location. In addition, a dedicated cache can be created for multiple worker roles and one or more applications, providing a cache of virtually unlimited size and size.  This preview adds many new features, such as announcements, labels, areas, and high availability, to ensure that your cached data is resilient. Storage--As an additional option for existing geographically redundant storage options, locally redundant storage is now available to customers who do not need geo-replication and are looking for lower storage costs. Other storage updates include BLOB leases, blob storage replicas across storage accounts, and shared access signatures (SAS) for tables and queues (which are still available for Blob storage).  Commitment--ssae (SOC 1 Type 2) Audit reports are available for Windows Azure Core Services.

New service:

Windows Azure Virtual Machine--The virtual machine gives you mobile apps, you can move your virtual hard disk (VHD) between clouds and cloud. Migrate existing workloads, such as Microsoft SQL Server or Microsoft SharePoint, to the cloud, including your custom Windows server, Linux pictures, or selected from a library. Compatible operating systems and images available in the online library include Windows Server 2008 R2 installed with SQL Server Eval Windows Server 2008 R2 Windows Server Linux:opensuse 12.1 6.2 CentOS Ubuntu 12.04 SUSE Linux Enterprise Server SP2

In the new Windows Azure Management Preview interface, or through Powershell, a virtual machine can be accessed using the new Windows Azure SDK (June 2012). In addition, command-line tools are also available for development under Mac or Linux.

Windows Azure Virtual Network-This new service provides you with a simple way to create a private environment in Windows Azure (referred to as a virtual network or vnet), or (optionally) a simple way to connect to your non-cloud network via a VPN gateway. In the virtual network that you create, you can control the network topology-for example, you can configure the IP address range for the virtual machine or even specify your own DNS. To create a secure connection to your company's VPN gateway, we use an industry-standard IPSec protocol. With Windows Azure Virtual network services, you can extend your non-cloud data center to Windows Azure migration (including legacy versions) of existing applications and services by building a "virtual" extension in public cloud computing to provide network portals to run "mixed" applications across cloud and non-cloud networks

Windows Azure Web site-building Web sites and applications with this highly resilient solution allows you to easily click a few down to deploy. Build new applications using. NET, Node.js, or PHP, and connect to the SQL database (formerly known as SQL Azure) or MySQL (serviced by Cleardb for Windows Azure). Use Git to easily deploy with the integration built into the team's basic services and FTP. Integration with Microsoft WebMatrix also allows you to easily download your Web site to make local changes, and then easily deploy Windows Azure. Deploy popular open source Web applications such as WordPress, joomla! , DotNetNuke, Umbraco and Drupal to the cloud. availability of new countries Windows Azure availability has been extended to customers in 48 new countries and regions, including Russia, Korea, Taiwan, Turkey, Egypt, South Africa and Ukraine. The launch will be completed later this month to make one of the most popular cloud platforms in the Windows azure--industry available in 89 countries and 19 local currencies.

All in all, these updates provide customers with greater flexibility across non-cloud and cloud servers, providing powerful enhancements to cloud applications and keeping me focused on making Windows Azure an open platform. We invite you to enroll to get these new previews and provide your feedback!
