On July 18, Taiwan's Economic Daily News reported that Hon Hai Precision (Foxconn), the world's largest foundry, will start volume production of the next-generation iPhone from Apple this month.

The 4.7-inch new iPhone will start mass production in the third week of the month, and the new 5.5-inch iPhone will start mass production in the second week of next month. However, the report did not indicate the source.

According to another report, Henan Province Department of Commerce Director Jiao Kamiao recently said to the outside that in response to the iPhone 6's production and marketing, Foxconn Henan Province, all the recruitment sites have begun to recruit people, plans to recruit 100,000 people.

The Economic Daily also reported that Pegatron, a foundry company, will also launch a large-scale recruitment program in China this month, hoping to recruit 10,000 new employees to produce the new iPhone.
