Fractal: Use mail to create fun to keep readers

E-mail design service fractal has opened APIs to email marketing service providers for consolidation and added iphone, IPad and Android email previews, according to the new mobile Discovery report.

Fractal uses Div, float, and margin to encode e-mail messages as Web pages and convert HTML messages into nested tables. After the div template is converted to a table structure, fractal applies the email client patch to resolve display issues related to Hotmail, Microsoft Outlook, and so on.

Fractal is about to launch the iphone and Android preview, and mail creators can see what the final product looks like. It is very convenient for most users who view mail through mobile devices.

Given the difficulty many users have in e-mail management, and the fact that bad messages tend to lead to a loss of subscribers, Fractal's new version of the process that simplifies mail creation can help users create interesting emails to retain their readers. (MK)
