Complexity science and large data technology are the new science and new technology emerging before and after 21st century, the scientific revolution and technological revolution occurred at the turn of the century, but from the viewpoint of thought origin, epistemology and methodology, both of them are of great relevance and belong to the category of system thought, which is the scientific expression and technology realization of system thought respectively. From the rise of complexity science to the advent of large data age is a historical necessity, because the complexity of science for the birth of large data technology has laid a solid scientific foundation, while the large data technology is the complexity of the scientific concept of the continuation and technical realization.
