The development of cloud computing in our country is from virtual to solid, all kinds of cloud application and cloud service emerge quickly. On the day of the "2012 International Cloud Computing Conference" hosted by China Communications Society, guests from government departments, telecom operators, research institutes and equipment manufacturers gathered together to share the practice and achievements of cloud computing development in China. The pace of practice has been accelerating

It is particularly worth mentioning that cloud computing services in the domestic market awareness and recognition is significantly increased. Xinsheng disclosed that the Ministry of Industry and Telecommunications Institute for more than 500 small enterprise IT personnel survey, cloud computing awareness rate has reached more than 80%, of which about 30% of the enterprises have to varying degrees of use of public cloud computing services. Domestic users in the cloud services cost-effective, after-sales service, stability, security and other aspects of satisfaction are up to 80%.

Cloud computing technology research and development and industrialization capacity is also improving. Wenjian, director of the Ministry of Planning, said that the current in the virtualization software, cloud network equipment, such as cloud computing infrastructure, domestic enterprises have developed capabilities, products have been applied. At the same time, some Internet enterprises and telecom operators began to explore and use the cloud-based energy-saving technology and achieved remarkable results. In the cloud computing operating system, Huawei, wave and China Mobile and other companies have launched large-scale computing storage resource management cloud platform products.

This shows that, in the government and industry together, the practice of cloud computing is accelerating, with the public cloud, private cloud as the representative of the cloud applications continue to emerge, the industrial chain further mature, a good future cloud computing market is emerging.

Key issues need to be addressed

Although the development of cloud computing in our country has made remarkable achievements, the problems in the development of cloud computing are still not to be neglected, especially the core technology needs to be broken, the infrastructure construction need planning and the policy and regulations are not perfect.

"The core technology and products of cloud computing in our country still have a big gap compared with developed countries." Wenjian pointed out that China's cloud computing core chips, basic products and core technology mainly rely on foreign enterprises, in the hardware-assisted virtualization and other further technological innovation on a short period of time difficult to break through. At present, international providers with mature business solutions have become the biggest beneficiaries of the domestic cloud computing infrastructure. Therefore, our country in the cloud computing key technology, the overall solution as well as the system integration ability and so on need to break through and ascend.

China's cloud computing security regulations and regulatory system is still not sound. Xinsheng that China's laws and regulations on data privacy protection, Cross-border services, Cross-border data flow, and network crime management still have a further perfect space.

The overheating of infrastructure has become a prominent problem in the development of cloud computing. Xinsheng said that, as the cloud computing market started and developed, based on good expectations of the future, our demand for cloud computing data centers is growing rapidly, many places are planning or carrying out the construction of cloud computing data center, but there are some blind construction situation, it is urgent to government norms and guidance. Wenjian also believes that there are heavy facilities and light services in the development of cloud computing in China. The core of cloud computing is the innovation of service mode and business model, but some local enterprises are keen on the construction of infrastructure such as cloud computing data Center, the construction of cloud computing data center is lack of co-ordination and many facilities are vacant.

The healthy development of cloud computing industry is inseparable from the perfect standard. At present, China's cloud computing standards are still relatively weak. Ministry of Software Services department director Chen Wei also disclosed at this meeting, the Ministry of Industry as the Department of Information Industries, attaches great importance to the development of cloud computing industry, is stepping up the compilation of cloud guidance advice, IDC construction planning, clear development ideas.

Compared with the international developed market, our country's public cloud computing Service market Scale still needs to enlarge. According to statistics, China's public cloud services market in the world accounted for about 2%, only Japan's 1/5, the United States 1/30, and the domestic cloud computing services are mainly free or low-cost model to attract users, has not formed an effective business model. Therefore, China also urgently needs to accelerate the cultivation of influential large-scale cloud computing enterprises, innovative cloud computing service applications and business models, to form a benign development of scale.
