Fuji Kang Zhengzhou Factory discontinued iphone 5c

Apple's supplier list shows the factory is located in Zhengzhou, Henan province. One months ago, sources from Foxconn said Apple had cut its iphone 5c orders by more than 30%. Meanwhile, orders for another major Heshuo, the IPhone 5c, have been downgraded by less than 20%. An iphone 5c component supplier, who declined to be named, said orders had been reduced by 50%. According to Digitimes, Foxconn accounts for 30% of the total iphone 5c, while Heshuo accounts for 70%. Foxconn's reduction of the iphone 5c was due to disappointing sales of the handset. According to past records, however, the rumours provided by Digitimes are not necessarily accurate. China's CTech website has recently said that the Digitimes report of the Foxconn Zhengzhou plant completely discontinued the iphone 5c was inaccurate, and Foxconn has only drastically reduced the production of the iphone 5c. According to CTech, at present Foxconn's iphone 5c daily output is only 8000 to 9000 units, or about 50,000 units per week. For the first time, Apple released two new iphones this year. The flagship iphone 5s employs a 64-bit A7 processor and integrates Touch ID fingerprint scanners. The lower-priced iphone 5c features a plastic shell and offers a variety of colors. Although Apple did not disclose the two handsets sold separately, many industry watchers believe the iphone 5s is far better than the iphone 5c. Apple sold 33.8 million iphones in the quarter ending September. The latest data from Localytics, an application analyst, suggests that the iphone 5s accounts for 3.8% of all active iphones, compared with 1.7% for iphone 5c. But Mike Walkley, Canaccord Genuity analyst, recently estimated that the iphone 5s sales will be strong in the upcoming holiday season, and that the iphone 5c will remain stable. (Lili)
