Games and gaming machines into the American New Year shopping preferred XB most popular

According to overseas media reports, the latest findings show that video games and gaming consoles have become the most popular electronic New Year gift for American consumers this year.　　In the Giftmeister's survey, they listened to 20,000 consumers, 38% of whom said they had bought video games or consoles for the year in the last one months as an electronic New Year gift. The result has also made video games and consoles beat the popular electronic devices such as smartphones, digital cameras, MP3 players and E-readers, which have become the favorites of American consumers this year.　　But digital cameras are still the most popular electronic device for female consumers. The results show that XB360 and Kinect are the most popular electronic devices, the second is Apple's ipad, ranked fifth by Sony's PS3, and sixth in Apple's ipod touch.　　The survey also showed that about 66% of respondents bought electronic gifts at a value below $100, and only 6% of respondents purchased more than 500 dollars in electronic gifts. Only about 15% of consumers this year were interested in buying games as a New year gift, down from 20% last year, according to a report released by NPD in October. But the Consumer Electronics Association predicted in September that 18 million game consoles would be sold this year during the New Year holiday, higher than the market demand for the same period last year.
