Gartner: Big data will spawn billions of dollars in IT spending

In its report, Gartner predicts that this year, big data will push up to $96 billion trillion in direct or indirect global IT spending, which is expected to reach $232 billion by 2016.

The main conclusions of the Gartner Research report are as follows:

1, large data is not a completely different market. In fact, data is ubiquitous and affects business in every possible way.
