Geany is a lightweight integrated development environment (IDE) developed with GTK2, Cross-platform, support Win, Linux, and http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/11691.html ">MACOSX" systems. Main features include: syntax highlighting, code folding, automatic completion of code, automatic completion of frequently used structures, automatic completion of XML and HTML tags, invoke prompts, support C, Java, PHP, HTML, Python, Perl, Pascal, Haskell, Latex languages, symbolic lists, extensible plug-ins, and more.

Recently, Geany released the latest version 0.2, in the repair of bugs and add some improved functionality at the same time, new Updatechecker and Webhelper two plug-ins.

Ubuntu users can install geany 0.2 and plugins via PPA

sudo add-apt-repository Ppa:geany-dev/ppa
sudo apt update
sudo apt install geany geany-plugins
