The German Bundestag passed a 2010-year government budget 19th, with new debt of € 80.2 billion, the highest record ever for federal Germany. The budget, submitted by the Coalition of Germany and the Liberal Democratic Party, totals 320 billion euros. The coalition and the LDP defended the government's record debt by the financial and economic crisis. Schäuble, the Treasury secretary, said the government would implement a rigorous economy plan since 2011. The German government budget was delayed in 2010 after last year's Bundestag elections and government reshuffle. The federal Senate is expected to vote on the budget by March 26 this year, and the new budget is expected to be implemented by mid-April.
