Giant FIR software CTO Wang Tao: Big Data brings opportunities for IT industry innovation

What new opportunities do big data bring to entrepreneurs? An entrepreneurial team of former IBM North American Laboratories is giving the answer, and startups have just won a big deal with CMBC through a model innovation based on large data business, the company is the giant FIR software. Wang Tao, CTO of the company, said the emergence of a large data concept had changed the entire it community, creating opportunities for entrepreneurs to innovate on big data businesses.

The database has been going on for decades from birth to the present, but the development of information management has never stalled. In the network and hierarchical database before the relational database is put aside, the relational database has undergone different stages, such as OLTP,OLAP, Data Warehouse, column storage and so on. During this period, although the core of the relationship model did not occur significant changes, but the industry has been surging, new technologies emerge.

The emergence of large data concepts has changed the entire IT community, says Wang Tao. The traditional relational database has been unable to satisfy people's demand for data quantity, and the whole industry is beginning to find new technology to meet this demand. This is the origin of large data and non relational database requirements.

At this stage, innovations in big Data include Hadoop and NoSQL. Hadoop and NoSQL's theory of distributed storage computing has been around for decades, but no particular scenario has ever been applied. After the advent of large data concepts, distributed attention, the world also from the construction of more and more memory, the faster the CPU, gradually converted to build more and more large clusters.

Wang Tao revealed that in the business model, to NoSQL database as the basis of the support point, the upper layer combined with a variety of new technologies to provide customers with integrated large data platform. Of course, for many enterprise-class users, building large data platforms is far more than just a NoSQL database. So the company has also been strengthening cooperation with IBM, Cloudera, a large data-field giant.
