Giant Network announces privatisation deal

Beijing time July 21 afternoon news, Giant Network (NYSE:GA) July 18 announced that the company has completed March 17, 2014 with giant Investment Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Giant Merger 2¥q signed a merger agreement, and the additional agreement signed on May 12, 2014. Under the deal, Giant Investment Corp. has bought a giant network of about 3 billion dollars in cash.

The merger agreement was approved at a special shareholder meeting on July 14, 2014. Under the agreement, all eligible giant network shareholders will receive 12 U.S. dollars per share of common shares, or the United States Depository shares (hereinafter referred to as "ADS") 12 U.S. dollar acquisition price. Eligible Giants network shareholders will receive a guidance letter informing them of the operation of the relevant matters.

The giant network also announced that the company had asked the NYSE to stop trading ads after July 18. The giant network also filed a request to the NYSE to submit form 25 documents to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to inform the SEC of the company's ads delisting. (Ding Macro)
