Global cloud computing investment 13.5 billion Asia North America accounted for 90%

European operators apparently did not keep up with North American and Asian operators in the area of cloud computing investment, according to a new study published by Informa, a market research institute. Global operators ' investment in cloud computing amounted to $13.5 billion in 2011, and North American and Asian operators accounted for 90%, up to $12 billion trillion, while European operators accounted for only 7%, the report showed.
