Groupon builds a new trading platform for businesses to build deals

February 11 News, the United States first major group purchase website Groupon launched a "Deal Builder" trading platform. Using this trading platform, Groupon's businesses can build Groupon deals on their own by 7x24 hours.

The site of the trading platform is grouponworks.com, allowing merchants to build transactions on the platform by process. They can choose the transaction template that suits their needs, so that the promotion effect is maximized.

VP Dan Roarty, of Groupon's product development department, said the platform was being launched to meet a growing number of partners, so merchants who wanted to buy Groupon could get in touch directly with Groupon.

Groupon has already shown the use of deal builder to 10,000 or so businesses, and most businesses in the United States now have access to the platform. Before using this platform, the merchant needs to register the basic information on the grouponworks.com, then select the group buying mode they want and submit the product discount information.

When the merchant submits all the information, they can see the final formed Transaction page, after the electronic signature confirmation Groupon will carry on the audit, after the audit completes will be able to buy. If a merchant needs to consult a Groupon representative during the construction process, it can click on the Online Communication button on the page.

Groupon can also provide guidance on the number of customers and expected discounts that the merchant expects to achieve, and provide them with an effective promotional package.

The trading platform can now allow bodybuilding services and some activities to participate in group buying, businesses can choose their main feature of group buying activities. And in the second half of 2014, Groupon plans to expand the platform's businesses to food and beverage distributors.
