Two days ago to see a report, Google will be based on whether users click on ads, adjust the advertising display mode.

In Google search results, the top usually has one or two light blue background adsense ads. If the user does not click on these ads, Google will take out the above ads, only the right side of the ads show.

I tried for half a day also did not see this effect, should still be in the experiment.

This is another example of how Google tracks user behavior. I've talked about it before. Google is likely to collect user behavior patterns and adjust the results of the rankings, including through toolbars.

Google Toolbar downloads are not found, there may be 5%-10%. Whatever the exact number, it should still be a relatively small sample range. However, the data collected through the tool bar have been able to explain many problems.

Google can at least collect the data.

User Information

What topics do search users have an interest in? What keywords do you often search? What websites do you often see? What are the themes of these websites? What topics might the user be expert on? In some cases, it is entirely possible for Google to know who this user is.

The mode of the user visiting the website

How long does it stay on the site? Have you browsed multiple pages of a Web site? Does the user bookmark the site? Firefox has a very close relationship with Google, and Google may be able to track bookmark data in the Firefox browser.

Does the user have to be on the same site many times? Does the user read a website and repeat the same keyword search?

Imagine if a user searches for the word "Beijing restaurant," Click on the results of the first search results, 30 seconds later click the browser Back button, and then clicked on the third site, in the third site to see more than one page, add a bookmark, in a few days users and directly from the bookmark to browse the same site.

What conclusions can Google draw from this series of user actions? Obviously, the third site is helpful to users. If this behavior is repeated in a number of different users, Google may take this factor into the rankings.

Of course, this data has a low sampling rate, but also the possibility of being made false. But statistically speaking, if you control this factor within a certain proportion and refer to other data, you can help to choose the best website to a large extent.
