Recently, several hacker organizations claimed to have attacked the servers of ImageShack, Symantec, PayPal and other organizations.

November 4, a hacker organization called HTP has hacked into the Web servers, MySQL databases, routers, and management servers used by ImageShack.

"ImageShack is completely occupied," the hackers wrote in an e-mail, "We have control over every server and router they have." It's been years. ”

The message also contains specific information, such as source code from the ImageShack server, configuration files, database information, Internet IP (network protocol), and many other details.

Hackers said the ImageShack was targeted to test the extent to which the company's own system security was enhanced after a security attack in 2009.

ImageShack did not immediately comment.

In this email, HTP also claimed to have hacked into the Symantec server. The leaked data includes databases that hackers say are copied from Symantec (including hundreds of users ' names, email addresses, and hash codes), many of which use @symantec.com domain names.

"Symantec is aware of the relevant statement," said Katherine James, Symantec's public relations director. "We take every statement seriously, and do immediate action to start an investigation." The first thing we need to do is to ensure that all customer information is protected. We have no more information to offer in the ongoing survey. ”

Hackers joined Anonymous (anonymous) hackers in Sunday to attack and destroy several websites, including NBC, a Lady Gaga fan website called Gaga and several Australian websites.

"We are investigating this, but so far no valid evidence has been found to confirm the hacker's statement," he said. "PayPal Public Relations department head Anuj Nayar said. PayPal did not immediately comment on this Monday.
