Head-wearing equipment has arrived, taking stock of seven of attention equipment

Microsoft hosted the Windows 10 conference yesterday, but it wasn't just a brand new operating system. The most bright eye is the augmented reality product holograms and the HoloLens of the head-and-wear equipment. HoloLens based on holograms technology allows users to interact with holographic images around them.

After the Oculus VR was bought by Facebook for 2 billion dollars last year, a variety of virtual reality or augmented reality head-and-wear devices began to emerge, and most of the trials were praised. But most of these devices are not yet commercially available, and even a handful of them have not yet been accepted by ordinary consumers.

With so many companies already involved in the industry, there may be a commercial explosion of the head-wearing equipment next year. These are still concept products that can be bought within a year or two. So let's take a look at what you can choose from.

HoloLens

Strictly speaking, HoloLens adopts augmented reality technology rather than virtual reality. It lets you show the virtual scene at the same time as you see the immediate environment. When you wear a HoloLens, you can see the outside world as if you were wearing an ordinary pair of glasses, because its lenses are transparent. At the same time, this transparent lens is still a display, can be seen in the real outside world, add 3D animation, create a combination of reality and effect.

Time to market: Microsoft did not give HoloLens the exact time to market. It may take 2 years for ordinary consumers to use such a product.

Oculus Rift

Oculus Rift uses virtual reality technology to get you into a whole new scene. Due to the use of the left and right eyes to view the different angles, so users can see lifelike 3D effect, like immersive. Oculus Rift is a stand-alone product, but it needs to be used with computers.

Time to market: Oculus Rift has released several developer previews, and it is expected that ordinary consumers will be able to use the product in 2015.

Magic Leap (company name)

Magic Leap is a very mysterious company, because last year Google's investment and reputation of a big noise. Gear VR

This is a product from Samsung and Oculus VR cooperation. The Gear VR is similar to the Oculus Rfit from the product type, but Gear VR uses the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 handset as the monitor and operating system. So gear VR does not need to be used with computers.

IPO Time: Samsung has released its developer version of Gear VR last year, and it is expected that ordinary consumers should also be able to buy a formal version of the product in the second half of the year.

Project Morpheus

This is Sony's name for its own first-wear products announced at the 2014 Game Developers Conference (GDC). The current information about the product is not much, we only know that this is a virtual reality device, and Sony's PS4 and PS Vita combined use.

Market Time: Sony did not disclose when the product will be listed, but given that it can be used in conjunction with PS4, may be listed in the PS4 product life cycle.

The flagship product Ant Vision Helmet is a virtual reality of the head-wearing equipment, and Oculus Rift is more similar. Another product machine gourmands and Samsung Gear VR more like.
