How do I change the preset values for the boot system in the GRUB menu?
&http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/37954.html ">NBSP;
sudo cp/boot/grub/menu.lst/boot/grub/menu.lst_backup
sudo gedit/boot/grub/menu.lst

The above version is before the 9.10 version:

sudo cp/boot/grub/grub.cfg/boot/grub/grub.cfg_backup
sudo gedit/boot/grub/grub.cfg

Ubuntu 9.10:

sudo cp/etc/default/grub/etc/default/grub_backup
sudo gedit/etc/default/grub

Example: Grub_default=0 grub_timeout=5

sudo grub-mkconfig-o/boot/grub/grub.cfg

Go to update grub.cfg file
