On my screen there is a black X in the center in addition to the mouse chart. This problem is caused by the hardware acceleration of the cursor. This problem can be resolved by modifying the/etc/x11/xf86config-4 file and adding the following configuration:

Option "Hwcursor" "false"

Or:

Option "SWCursor" "true"
