I admit, http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/6918.html at home "> work has always been a weakness for me. Ordinary me, even in noisy offices and cafes, can guarantee efficiency. But it takes me a long, long time to finish a small project that is not working. Why is that?
After a self-examination, I found the culprit: my brain. I see in a book that the brain works by establishing a series of concepts, and when a concept is triggered, other associated concepts are triggered. You can also understand that when I am at home, all the concepts of happy hours and leisure activities are triggered from the depths of the brain. Then my mental state was transformed, not the rhythm of work at all.
Having understood the problem, I began to stimulate my brain in different ways to improve my productivity at home. And these methods have succeeded. Here are some of the ways I've tried, they're very helpful and I hope I can help you.
Create a real working environment.
I live alone in a small apartment with no extra room for a comfortable office or even a nice desk. I first tried to work on the couch with my laptop, but I didn't succeed. My brain keeps telling me that the couch is a place to rest. So I moved my work area to the table. This is the best place I can find in my home. I have my back to the things that tempt me: TV, PS3, and my guitar ... Away from these temptations, my productivity has multiplied exponentially.
Let the aroma of coffee float in the air.
Coffee can make people excited, for many office workers, coffee is simply to enhance the efficiency of the weapon. But very few people know that the aroma of coffee can also play such a role. I realized that coffee had been linked to my brain and my work. So whenever I smell coffee, I can switch to working mode right away. In my interactions with some of my friends, I found this to be a common phenomenon (at least in Western culture). Even those who never drank coffee, after smelling the taste of coffee, inexplicably feel ready to work.
Organize your instrument.
When you are in a lazy Sunday afternoon, you may be wearing very comfortable clothes and even wearing your pajamas. Your hair is still messy and you may need a shave. These things have also been a reason for my inefficiency. Later I found that when you dress up like you want to go to work, you can effectively convert your brain into a "working mode." This may sound absurd, but I've even found that putting shoes on can significantly improve my productivity.
Choose the right music.
I usually listen to the music style is very miscellaneous, but I also found that I listen to music mode: I usually like to listen to some "into the environment" of music, when I work, usually put jazz music or psychedelic dance. Playing music that I listen to in my normal work can help me improve my working efficiency.
List a work schedule.
While working from home, I found that the "Tomato Work Act" works best for me, and I can stay focused for a long time: work 30 minutes, rest for 5 minutes, and repeat the process. After two hours of work, rest for 15 minutes and start over.
You may wonder if they really work, but you might as well try. This simple five steps will dramatically increase your productivity at home.
