Apple and Samsung are still on who copied the question in the courtroom each other choke really don't want to say, content nothing more than a word summed up: ye do smart machine The first best, ye may copy you? In the courtroom, two of them have a lot of chatter about the secrets of their own cool, insider development, following the iphone and ipad prototypes, the FaceTime story. Samsung recently said in court that Apple violated the two patented video-transmission technology, code-named No. 239, directed at FaceTime's infringement of Samsung's patents. So Apple sent Roberto Garcia, now the head of the imessage project, to testify. According to CNET, this Tuesday, the engineer in court told the original responsibility for the development of FaceTime. It turned out that Apple was developing its own video telephony technology before the first iphone was released. In 2007, Garcia was developing a prototype project for Apple to make voice calls to phones and Macs. The project went well, and by the second year, Garcia and team members had been able to decode the video signal from the Mac from a phone. But based on Apple's culture of secrecy, Garcia's team can only end up working on the project, and they don't know which team took over the project, and soon the new task was assigned to the Garcia team ... The App Store was online in 2008, and Apple was quick to see that the iphone was an excellent gaming platform. Garcia then received a development project code-named Game Kit, the goal of which was to enable game developers to implement the game link based on an open platform while allowing the player to implement voice communication on the platform. By the year 2009, Game Kit eventually became the Game Center we knew later, but the voice function written for Game kit was separated as a stand-alone project. The project also has a code name: Venice. This time, Garcia was in charge of the development of this voice communication product with four other engineers. Luckily, the code that Garcia wrote for the game kit voice function has been successfully applied to new projects. Next, Garcia's five-person team is responsible for the core software component of the product, and Apple has deployed different teams to support different technical areas. Apple's core audio team, for example, has also helped them deal with the microphone and speaker part of the problem. After writing tens of thousands of lines of code for the project, the communication product became a FaceTime. At the time, however, jobs did not like the first edition of FaceTime, because jobs thought that if video chats were to be the best form of Apple products, it would be absolutely easy to use (right òoutsideó of the box). So the Garcia team continues to make a variety of improvements to FaceTime., unexpectedly, in order to meet Jobs's absolute ease of use, their greatest effort for FaceTime is the security of the application-because when the old grandma can easily FaceTime, the application of security problems will not be too good. So Garcia says FaceTime stays encrypted during the communication and doesn't save any images. So that in the first half of 2013, Apple received 4000 to 5,000 data requests from law enforcement agencies because they could not monitor Apple's imessage and FaceTime content. Then, in the IPhone4 press conference in 2010, jobs officially released the WiFi version of FaceTime in one more thing form, then FaceTime formally supported the cellular network in 2012. iOS users can have a face-to-face conversation with their loved ones, with little extra action. And because Facetime, garcia is also a holder of five patents.
