&http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/37954.html ">nbsp; Repeating content is always a topic that is often talked about. We are constantly publishing articles about this and people are constantly making questions. In particular, I've also heard a lot of webmasters who worry about being subjected to "duplicate content penalties."
Here, let us make it clear at once that there is no such thing as a "duplication penalty". At least, not what most people think when they talk about it.
Some of the penalties are related to copying the content of other websites, such as completely copying and publishing the content of other websites, or releasing the copied content without providing any additional value at all. These are the practices that we do not advocate, and you can find a clear description of this issue in the Webmaster's Guide:
1. Do not create multiple pages, subdomains, or domains that contain a large amount of duplicate content.
2. Avoid creating Web sites in the form of "one Die Printed" (cookie cutter), such as affiliate programs with little or no original content.
3. If your site participates in affiliate programs, please ensure that your site can provide additional value. Provide unique and relevant content that gives users the first reason to visit your site.
In some cases, however, some site owners intentionally place duplicate content in multiple domains to manipulate search engine rankings or gain more traffic. Such behavior is deceptive, leading to a very bad user experience: Users see a lot of the same duplicates in a set of search results.
Google will try to use different information to index and display Web pages. For example, this filtering method indicates that if each article in your Web site has both "General" and "printable" versions, and robots.txt or noindex meta tags do not intercept any one version, then we will choose to list one. If Google finds that duplicate content is being manipulated to manipulate our rankings and deceive our users, we will make adjustments in the process of indexing and ranking such sites, although this rarely happens. In this way, the ranking of the site may be affected, or we may be the site from the Google index completely removed, the site will not be deleted after the search results.
Most webmasters already know that repetitive content can negatively affect the ranking of sites. But how can you check a particular website for this problem and how can you reduce or avoid it?
From the outset, you can divide the duplication into two main categories:
Duplicate content caused by web site structure
Content theft caused by duplication
About duplicate content caused by web site structure
Some web site structures themselves can cause duplicates, as shown in the following example:
Print Friendly (ptint-friendly) pages
Have roughly similar content on multiple pages and can be accessed through different URL addresses
There are very similar units on the page, such as in an e-business category, a series of different color linings with similar descriptions
The page is part of a tracking application's membership program, and the program is not configured correctly
Multiple pages have duplicate headings or duplicate meta tag values
Use session ID in URL address
Standardization issues
To find the duplicate content caused by the site structure, you can use the site:www.yingyuxuexi.org.cn query string to check the URL address of a Web site that has been indexed by a search engine. All major search engines (Google, yahoo!,microsoft Live Search) support this feature. Typically, a "print friendly" page is indexed and quickly displayed.
