One complaint about plasma is that you can't remove the annoying cashew nuts icon. Next, I discuss plasma's infamous "cashew" icon.
Before
This is a simple guide to removing cashew nuts. You may need to KDE4.1 or update and understand the use of some terminals.
Panel Cashew Nuts
Remove the panel, you can choose to "lock part", this option can be found in many places, such as the right key to the desktop, or the upper right corner of the "Cashew" menu

Once you have locked the parts, you cannot move/flex/Remove them. The option to add a part also disappears. If you want to manipulate the parts, simply unlock the parts.
Desktop Cashew
This is troublesome, you notice that the locking part does not remove the cashew on the desktop, it is annoying, someone decided to do something, so "I hate the Cashew" This desktop component was born.
1. Download this part and save it to the user's home directory. 2. Unzip the file below the terminal. TAR-XJVF file name
The filename here is 91009-ihatethecashew.tbz.
3. Run the command CD Ihatethecashewmkdir BUILDCD build 4. Compile this widget cmake-dcmake_install_prefix= ' Kde4-config--prefix '. Make
If there is an error, it is most likely a dependency problem and check that all required packages are installed.
5. Normally, root permissions are required to install the part sudo make install
Enter password, press ENTER, install this part if no sudo command, enter
Su < Enter root password >make install 6. You should be able to find him in the Add Part dialog box and add "I hate the Cashhew" to the desktop.
Then lock the parts so that all the cashews are gone.
After
If you want to go back to the desktop, simply remove the "I hate the Cashew" widget from the "Add part".
