How to use the Sony PSP handheld game in Ubuntu

Load PSP

Uninstall/Eject PSP

The PSPVC (Playstation Portable video convertor) is a FFMPEG front-end program that can be used to convert the PSP to play videos.

Installation

There are no available packages available for download, please download the compilation manually

Unzip to a directory
Run the following command first to satisfy the dependencies:

sudo apt install nasm libfaac-dev libxvidcore-dev Libgtk2.0-dev

Then, under the Decompression directory, start the installation process:

sudo/install.sh

Compiling DVDs from VOB may require recompilation.

Use

Enter in the terminal:

Pspvc

Convert good MPEG4 video files in mp_root/100mnv01 H264 video at Mp_root/100anv01
