According to foreign media reports, Hewlett-Packard has recently launched a series of services and systems for enterprise data centers that want to advance cloud computing, emphasizing how the technology providers of large enterprises use cloud computing. IBM also released a platform-as-service model last week, while other current cloud computing vendors are mostly selling hardware.
"All cloud computing is rooted in a data center somewhere, and the data center is the root of cloud computing," says Ian Jagger, global Technology Advisor for HP Technology services. Oracle also holds the same argument when it comes to selling exadata integrated equipment.
Hewlett-Packard's main focus is that its hardware and software allows the data center to be completed in a shorter planning and construction cycle, and the company also cites the best examples of simultaneous planning, design, and building processes. "Customers will incrementally increase the design of their data centers to deliver cloud computing operations internally and provide external services," said Frances Guida, manager of the HP Cloud Computing program and infrastructure unit.
The company's executive team also pointed out that the latest Cloudsystem integration products by the company's various cloud computing services converge, is currently in the closed testing phase, has not yet identified the components of the link schedule. These components include: Data center strategy, operational dimension and ongoing planning consultancy services. The larger HP Cloudsystem, which integrates the building blocks of the data center, constructs the portfolio and cloud Computing Research Center. HP will provide as much as $2 billion trillion in loans to the cloud computing program, to reduce front-end costs and allow customers to repay loans as the data centers evolve. HP Virtualsystem for Microsoft and Superdome 2 and HP-UX will be designed as turnkey systems, and Microsoft's system integration and settings are used for Sharepoint, Exchange, and SQL Server, while superdome/ HP-UX systems are designed to operate CRM, ERP, and finance on HP's Integrity product line.
