HP launches converged cloud: across traditional it, private cloud, managed cloud and public cloud

April 13, 2012, Beijing--Hewlett-Packard today announced the launch of the HP Fusion Cloud (HP converged Cloud), the industry's first hybrid delivery and solution portfolio spanning traditional it, private cloud, managed cloud, and public cloud offerings in a common architecture.

The HP Fusion cloud designed for the Enterprise delivers the power of the cloud across infrastructure, applications and information to provide:

· Free Choice-supports a wide range of virtualization platforms, operating systems, development environments, heterogeneous infrastructures, and a wide range of partner ecosystems through an open, standards-based approach.

· High level of credibility-covering information, applications, and infrastructure management and security solutions.

· Consistency-a single common architecture.

The HP Fusion Cloud brings together the industry's leading HP Fusion infrastructure, HP Fusion management and security software, fusion information and powerful Open-source technology from openstack™.

New research Highlights demand

The research, led by Hewlett-Packard, shows that companies are undergoing major changes in service delivery and are increasingly using cloud products without the approval of the IT department.

Research shows that in almost one-second of the world's businesses, there is a situation where the sector uses cloud solutions that are not recognized by it, and 18% say they are unsure, compared with a 40% per cent uncertainty in China. It is expected that by 2020, the adoption rate of private cloud and public cloud models will double in China, which will increase by One-third. This shows that more successful enterprises need to find their own application environment without additional complexity and risk of effective solutions.

New HP fused cloud combination Products

The HP public cloud, the HP Cloud service (HP Cloud Services) first solution for next-generation network applications, will launch the beta version on May 10. The solution provides end users with an on-demand calculation instance or virtual machine, scalable online storage capacity, and accelerated delivery of cached content. As a result, developers will be able to deploy services within minutes and only pay for the resources they actually use. At the same time, HP Cloud services will release two additional infrastructure that is the private beta version of the service solution, the relational database service for MySQL, and the block storage services that support the movement of data between computing instances.

Managing a mixed delivery environment--hp a new cloud map (Cloud Maps) that extends HP's integrated, open solutions (HP Cloudsystem). It provides a prepackaged application template that can be used to create customized cloud service catalogs that lay the groundwork for automated key-button deployments. Together with HP Cloudsystem, HP Cloud maps can shorten the time it takes to build new cloud services for enterprise applications, from the original months to a few minutes.

To help test these applications, HP also released HP Services Virtualization 2.0 (HP Service Virtualization 2.0). With this software, customers can access restricted services in a simulated virtualized environment. Customers can then test the quality and performance of cloud or mobile applications without causing disruption to production systems.

For customers who do not want to manage their own cloud, HP has released a new enterprise-class cloud service (Enterprise Cloud Services) offering private cloud, continuity and unified communications solutions. By outsourcing Cloud Management to trusted IT providers, customers can use and pay on demand for other strategic projects.

To further expand the Portfolio solution, HP has unveiled a new engineering cloud change Service (UB Cloud Transformation Services) to help product development and engineering teams confidently adopt the cloud, So as to increase productivity and speed up the time-to-market of new products. In addition, customers can learn new knowledge through the new Cloud Security Alliance training Course (Cloud Security Alliance training courses) to learn how to avoid potential safety issues with cloud solutions.
